How to reach Powerscourt

Powerscourt Estate is located just 20 minutes south of Dublin, and there are many transportation options available to reach us.

The Waterfall is 6km away from Powerscourt Gardens and is a separate destination. It’s recommended to drive to the Waterfall.

Directions to Powerscourt Estate:

Car From Dublin City Centre / M50

GPS Coordinates: 3°11’05”N 6°11’13”W / 53.18472°N 6.18694°W

Take the N11 southbound (Wexford). At approximately 19km , take exit 7 for Bray south, Enniskerry, Powerscourt Gardens. Turn left at roundabout, over flyover and rejoin N11 heading north. Take first left for Enniskerry Village (Exit 6a). Continue along road to Enniskerry Village. Take the road to the left of the clock tower, in the village square, continue up steep hill for 600m. Powerscourt entrance is on the right-hand side opposite church entrance.

Bus

The closest public transportation to the estate are the 185 and 44 bus services which leave visitors in Enniskerry village in County Wicklow.

This is a short walk from the Estate (approximately 25 minutes, wear comfortable shoes).

Train

The nearest DART station (rail) to the Estate is Bray, County Wicklow which connects the 185 bus with Dublin City Centre. The rail line runs along the coast of Dublin, from Malahide and Howth southwards as far as Greystones, County Wicklow.

Directions to Powerscourt Waterfall:

Car

GPS Coordinates: 53.1467° N, 6.2105° W

The Waterfall is located 6km from Powerscourt Estate. From Dublin City and Wexford take Exit 8. After 2 km take the first right towards Enniskerry and follow the signs for Powerscourt Waterfall.

Public Transport

There is no public transport to Powerscourt Waterfall. It is 6km from Powerscourt Gardens.

It is recommended to drive to the Waterfall.

Powerscourt Estate

*COVID Update – April 2021* 

Further to the government announcements, the Powerscourt Estate team is pleased to inform you  that from Monday 12th April we will be able to welcome visitors from the rest of County Wicklow, and those living within 20km of Powerscourt Estate.

In line with the latest Government guidelines, we can welcome back visitors and annual members to enjoy the Gardens, Waterfall and Riverwalk (members only). The Garden Pavilion is also open for essential retail. The Golf Club will reopen to members from the 26th April.

During April the Gardens are open from 9.30 to 17.30 and the Waterfall from 10.30 to 17.30, with last admission 30 minutes before close.

The Avoca Food Hall is open 7 days a week (9.30 am – 5.30 pm). Avoca Outdoor Hatch is open for takeaway coffee, toasted sandwiches & treats 7 days a week (10.00 am – 4.00 pm). Avoca Pizza Van in the Courtyard is open Fridays, Saturday & Sundays from 12 noon – 3.30 pm.

The following facilities will remain closed for the duration of the latest restrictions.
