Wreath Making Demonstration
This is hosted by Sally Horn of The Sally Garden. During this demonstration, she will teach you how to make a Willow wreath using Irish grown foliage, foraged greenery, dried seed heads and fruit. As part of the growing worldwide movement to avoid oasis foam which is hazardous to both people and the environment, she will use materials that are recyclable and biodegradable.
Sally lives in Wicklow and is passionate about promoting sustainable, seasonal organic flowers. With a background in Craft, she started growing and selling cut flowers in farmers markets 6 years ago, liaising with other Organic Irish growers. No longer in the market, she now specializes in wedding and event floristry, and also runs workshops. Sally’s style is informal and natural and during the summer months, she grows many cottage garden favourites. She is also a keen forager and by embracing the beauty of the surrounding countryside, she hopes to inspire others to do so too.
