Classic Vehicles and Vintage Vibes at IVVCC Car Rally at Powerscourt

Enjoy a day of classic vehicles and vintage vibes at the Irish Vintage and Veteran Car club (IVVCC) Rally at Powerscourt. Join the largest motor club in Ireland, the IVVCC for their 42nd Car Rally here. Chat with motor enthusiasts and marvel at the stylish array of vintage vehicles at the event.

Taking place on Sunday, 18 August from 2pm to 5.30pm, it’s a spectacular day for all where you can enjoy the vintage cars up close.

Past runs at Powerscourt have featured a 1926 Rolls Royce, a 1920 Singer 10 HP and a 1930 Austin 7. With over 150 cars at this year’s event, there will be plenty of classics for you to enjoy including a 1900 Gladiator and 8 micro cars.

Everyone is welcome to come dressed to impress in their best vintage clothes! Many car owners dress up to match the age of their vehicles so expect plenty of razzle dazzle from feminine flapper dresses from the roaring 20’s to 1950’s retro rock and roll frocks.

Powerscourt Estate – Closure

(Effective 22.03.20)

In the interest of public safety and the absolute requirement for social distancing, we have decided to close the Estate, including the House, Gardens, River Walk and Waterfall, until further notice.

We have given the situation a great deal of thought and we understand that our visitors will be disappointed by this and we apologise for the inconvenience it may cause, particularly when being outside in nature is beneficial for mental and physical health.

At this time, we all have a social responsibility, including Powerscourt Estate, to minimise any harm to our friends, colleagues, and families.  We will be reviewing this situation on an ongoing basis.  Please keep an eye on the News Section of our website and social media for updates.
